A logo or product image similar this will:
- Add together interest to a sales page or training proclamation
- Strengthen your branding
- Create a compelling bulletin
So let's get started!
ane. Detect an epitome
Discover an image that y'all desire to use. I found this ane on Pixabay.com past searching for photos and the keyword "unity." Wait for a striking image that you could crop to a foursquare shape (ane:i aspect ratio). Download information technology.
2. Insert the image on a slide
Open PowerPoint with the default bare theme. Right-click just off the first slide and choose Layout, Bare to get rid of the placeholders.
Choose Insert, Pictures and navigate to the image you downloaded to insert it.
three. Crop the image
You lot want the paradigm to be a square. Select it, click the Moving picture Format tab, and then click the Ingather down pointer – not the Ingather push button itself but the arrow below the button.
Choose Aspect Ratio, 1:ane. If necessary, drag the epitome within the ingather marks and then that you get the part of the image yous want. In this example, the center of the paradigm was fine.
Click exterior the paradigm to end the ingather.
4. Insert the circle
I used a circle as the purlieus for my image, but y'all could use a rounded rectangle (square) or a square.
If the epitome is big, drag it from one of the corners to get in smaller and move it to i side of the slide.
On the Home tab, in the Drawing grouping, click the Oval shape. On the slide, press the Shift key and drag on the slide to brand a perfect circle. The size isn't so important at present because you lot can resize the logo later but make it large enough to work with easily.
With the circumvolve selected, click the Shape Format tab and choose Shape Fill and option the white colour.
Choose Shape Outline and choose a color for the outline. I chose a dark green.
Cull Shape Outline again, and so Weight, and choose a thicker weight. I chose half-dozen pts. but you can choose whatever y'all want. A thinner weight will expect more delicate.
5. Fill the circumvolve with the image
To fill the circumvolve with the image, follow these steps:
- Copy the image to the clipboard.
- Right-click the circumvolve and choose Format Shape. Brand certain the Fill & Line icon in the Format Shape pane is selected.
- Under the Make full section, choose Picture or Texture Fill and in the Moving picture Source section, choose Clipboard.
Presto! The image is inside the circle.
It already looks good but we're going to add together some text.
six. Add the text
On the Home tab in the Cartoon section, click the Text Box item and drag on the slide to a higher place the circle. Blazon the text for the peak of the circle. In my case, I typed, "PARTNERING MAKES". Y'all don't need to brand the text all caps, but I decided to. Don't worry about the text size, font, or color right now.
With the text box selected, on the Habitation tab, in the Paragraph department, click the Heart icon to center the text in the text box. Center the text box itself over the circle by dragging on its boundary. Y'all should see alignment guides when the text box is perfectly centered over the center of the circle.
Duplicate the text box, press and hold Shift, and drag the copy to the bottom of the circle. (Pressing Shift makes certain that the copy moves perfectly vertically.) Replace the text with your lesser text. I typed "Y'all STRONGER".
Endeavor to become the 2 text boxes the same altitude from the circle. You lot'll run into equidistant guides when they are. Information technology doesn't take to be perfect right now.
7. Curve the text around the circle
At present comes the magic.
Select the top text box. On the Shape Format tab, choose Text Effects, then Transform, then the Curvation selection, equally yous see here. You lot don't see much of a difference at first.
Now, drag the lesser-heart handle of the text box downward, almost to the bottom of the circumvolve. You'll be able to adjust information technology afterward but start with that.
You should run into the text curvation around the circumvolve with approximately the same curve.Annotation: You won't see the result until you finish the drag process.
At this signal, make the following slight adjustments:
- Change the text size, color, and font.
- Drag the text box upwardly or downwardly just a trivial then the altitude from the circle appeals to you.
- Drag the bottom-middle handle of the text box so that the curve of the text box more than accurately matches that of the circle. This is a trial-and-error process and so just keep making those little adjustments.
Here is my cease result for the top text box.
We're almost there!
Repeat the procedure for the lesser text box, but using the Arch Downwardly text transformation and dragging the height-center handle upward. When you do this, the two text boxes volition overlap, so as yous brand adjustments, take care to select the one y'all want to work with.
8. Turn information technology into an image
Select all 3 objects. Right-click and choose Save equally Picture. Relieve the image wherever you want. You tin now insert information technology in a sales folio, declaration, slide, blog post, social media postal service — anywhere y'all insert pictures.
